If a person is physically fit, but mentally unwell or troubled, he or she will not be able to function optimally. Mental fitness can only be achieved if your body is functioning well. You can help relax your own mind and eliminate stresses by exercising regularly and eating right

  3. Three key components to fitness are exercise, rest and good nutrition. All three components are needed to achieve ultimate fitness. Exercising three or more times a week can aid in and individual's physical fitness. Gaining seven to eight hours sleep a night is just as important as exercise. It gives the muscles time to repair, provides energy to brain and body as well as supports daytime performance. As it relates to nutrition, the body needs adequate vitamins, minerals, protein, fats and water in order to function optimally. Therefore it must be reiterated that ultimate fitness can be gained through exercise, rest and good nutrition.
